Summer is DONE!

Summer is officially over for my family.

All of the siblings start school on Monday. Who is going to be curling into a ball and crying all day.

Me!

My sister, Melissa, starts her final year of college. I remember watching her load up the car for her first move- in day 4 years ago. She got to move in early due to being on the UWA’s colorguard and attending band camp. I didn't go down to drop her off the 1styear. I did the 2nd year and had a blast! We spent time as a family moving her in with a newborn and a 3 year old helping! She has made life long friends and many many memories. She has gotten to do things that many people only dream about. Now she will complete her final year before becoming a special education teacher. I am super proud of her and she is carrying on the family tradition!
Melissa in Hawaii for a once in a lifetime service immersion trip for her sorority.

My brother, Joseph, start his final year in his welding program. I cried at his high school graduation and him receiving a diploma. It was such a dream come true and he had the loudest family section in the place. Now he is almost done learning a trade that he loves! He is always showing off his work and the different things he makes. I am so excited that he has found something to being doing something he loves and has such a passion for.
Joseph "modeling" during a quick sibling shoot!

My little bit, Brooklyn, is starting 5th grade this year. Can we say “No way?”.  She is half of me and half of Melissa. It was so eye opening this summer when she came to stay how much of a mini-me she is. This is the one who I rocked to sleep, cleaned up spit up from,  and walked into her kindergarten class with.  Moving away before she started 3rdgrade was hard.  I missed out on her 3rdand 4th years and on Joe’s senior year.  I have pictures that she has drawn or colored hanging in my room.  I can’t believe she is finishing her final year of elementary school this year. It can not be possible that she will be in middle school and then high school in a blink of an eye.

Just turning my sassy mini into a Annie Oakley!

Then there are the boys- Braiden and JR They start kindergarten this year. Tears just Tears. Braiden loved kinder camp and did not want to leave school yesterday. JR was a little less excited apparently. Braiden has a teacher who our family LOVES! She was the best kindergarten teacher that we could have asked for when we had Jon-Jon. I wish Braiden and JR had the same teacher.. L
JR at Easter... One of my favorite pictures of this sweetie!

Mom's love bug, Braiden- he was super excited to finish off the corn with no front teeth!

Now off to cry some more. This weekend sucks!
