Oh what a week! I can not believe I made it to Friday without crying. I started my second semester of Medical Lab school. The weather here in Texas has been just crazy this past week. Monday, I drove through ice and sleet to get to school. Then Tuesday, oh blessed Tuesday... Snow, ice, sleet and rain. It was dreadful! I am very thankful I did not skid or spin out on these roads. My little car did great! Wednesday the weather was sunny but windy while Thursday the high was 60! I don't understand this Texas weather at all. It is just like Alabama weather though.
This week has been tough on me for several reasons. One is my Simi girl is having surgery today to fix her left leg. They are going to break her leg, shorten it, make her knee joint deeper and place pins on either side of her knee cap to keep in place... Needless to say, I am a wreck. Simi went to spend the night with her daddy last night so he could drop her off for her surgery. I'll leave work and then drive over there in time to pick her up. She can't run, jump or be outside with out a leash for 8 weeks min. This is going to hard!
Second, my baby sister is (weather depending) going to be in her first pageant. She is beyond excited! She has watched Melissa and I in pageants since she was born. I can't wait to see pictures of how amazing she looks. If the weather holds up in Alabama, she will get to be in it. So keep your fingers crossed!
Off to work I go!
